Consultation
I am available to consult with professional colleagues on areas of particular interest or need.  My experience working with people of varied religious, spiritual, cultural, and philosophic backgrounds can help illumine these aspects of treatment. I hold a Masters of Divinity degree and have completed an internship and residency in Clinical Pastoral Education. I am currently working in partnership with a religious community to provide treatment for its members. For eight years, I worked with patients and families as a hospice chaplain.  I have extensive experience working with people living with chronic, progressive, and end-stage illnesses, and with people who are aging. I am able to help connect patients, families, and colleagues with community resources, and to help people think about mortality and death as well as plan for end of life rituals and observances. I have also worked closely with people who are bereaved. Finally, I am an avocational writer and have served on the faculty of New Directions in Writing, a program offered by the  Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. I am happy to provide consultative and editoral review of writing.
Please contact me if you would like to talk further about any of these possiblities.
